Dollars for Scholars Volunteers: The Best of the Best
What comes to mind when you think of the word "volunteer?" Maybe you think of long hours, no pay and menial tasks. Or maybe you think that volunteering is only for older people.
For Scholarship America Dollars for Scholars, "volunteer" means so much more – our volunteers run the show in their communities, raising funds and awarding scholarship to deserving students across the country. They’re the best of the best, and that is why we take the opportunity on one special night each year to celebrate our volunteers and the great work they do.
Scholarship America’s 4th Annual Awards Dinner was held on Thursday, October 24, 2013 in Minneapolis, to honor this year’s awardees.
